Dear friends and family…
July 2nd, 2009This blog is in dedication to Annie who passed on from this world this morning at 2:20am. (July 2nd 2009- Melbourne, Australia)

Annie truly lived life to the fullest. For a young 32 year old she has achieved far more than most.
There was never a time when Annie did not have a smile for anyone. She always stopped to listen and give her all to help anyone in any which way she could.
Please share your loving memory of her, the way she made you smile, made you happy, inspired you, made you healthier, kicked your butt in some sort of competition etc…

Monica and I spent time with Annie as recently as last Sunday. She demonstrated then as she always has, the Mindset Of A Champion - the strength and fortitude that becomes the inspiration for all others to admire and respect.
Her fighting spirit will remain with us forever.
Annie leaves a legacy of strength and conviction to ideals she believed in and lived to them to the fullest.
She lived life on her terms, a life full of adventure and boundless opportunity thinking that is so rare that it defined who she was.
Her beauty was transcended her physical elegance, it lay in the ability to take anything and everything ‘on’ without reservation or hesitation and childlike enthusiasm, excitement and passion.
Paulo’s dedication to her in the last year has been an example of what unconditional love is all about - he was there for her when it was most important and I know he will forever cherish the memories he was able to share with her.
To Annie and Paulo’s families, our hearts and thoughts are with you at this most difficult time.
We will miss her, but she will never be forgotten.

If ever a Goddess walked on Earth, it was Annie Guillet.
I am convinced she was made of stars.
There was always a twinkle in her eyes and a sparkle in her tone.
And when she touched my life, I somehow shone.
She had this ability to enter a person’s life and help them to blaze brighter, love better and contribute more.
She was a woman who led by example.
She is my friend forever more and in whatever matter – as Woman, as Earth, as Star.
I will treasure the lessons you have tought me and the love you have given me, the spirit you have alighted in me and the courage you have always given me to be free – especially when racing through the Spanish Hills on the back of your bloody red ‘tuc-tuc’ scooter!
I love you Annie, my ‘Guillet’ xoxox

I have the priviledge of meeting Annie some 7 years ago. As A Gazelle, she was poised, stricking and full of charm. I am so devastated that i will not walk this earth anymore, knowing that part of her legacy, in the inspiration of life will not be present. I didn’t know her very very well, but the times that i spoke with her, I became very aware of her strengh and admire her class, sporstmanship and inventive way of dealing with matters so hard from one and so easy for her. I remember telling her about my backache, and in a nice sweet way she told me that she could help a lot, if only i try her recipes, today made famous by her book, so i can loose some weight.
I am deeply sorry for the loss of Paul and family. And i am beginning to believe, that only the good die young.
Dear Paul, my condolences

For all the years I have known Annie, I have always admired her zest for life and her ability and enthusiastic determination to excel in whatever she undertook to do.
Annie lived life “to the max” and packed more into her short life than most of us will ever do in ours. She was caring and compassionate and had an inordinate sense of fun and adventure.
During the last year she proved how much of a fighter she was. Rather than giving up, she fought with the strength of unconditional love to be with the ones she loved just that little bit longer. For that love, strength and courage, I will be forever grateful.
Paulo’s unwavering dedication to Annie and the love they shared should be an inspiration to us all.
I still consider Annie part of the family as she will live on in my heart and my memories. Like so many others, I will miss her but I am content knowing she is at peace and has moved further on the cosmic journey.
My heart and thoughts are with all the family and Annie’s many friends during this time.
Wherever you are Annie, whatever road you are now travelling, take care and know my love is with you.

The last time we saw Annie, she was confined to her hospital bed. Yet, she was strong, heroic, and always looking on the positive side of life. That’s our Annie – she knew how to play full-on no matter what cards life has dealt her.
Annie was a high achiever. She was a true hero who dared to trek where most people are too afraid to go. Annie served as a beacon of inspiration, and a demonstration of what a determined human spirit can do and accomplish despite the odds.
Through her love, passion and generous spirit she has helped hundreds of people around the globe live more healthy, rewarding and vibrant lives.
It was a great honor to know such a talented, passionate and driven individual who knew how to win and keep winning in life and business.
To Annie and Paulo’s families, we’re with you in spirit and are grieving this great loss.
Even though she has left us, she will stay in our hearts forever.

God looked around his garden And He found an empty place. And then He looked down upon the earth, And saw your tired face. He put His arms around you, And lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain, He knew that you would never Get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough, And the hills were hard to climb, So He closed your weary eyelids, And whispered”Peace be thine.” It broke our hearts to lose you . But you didn’t go alone, For part of us went with you, The day God called you home.

Dear Annie,
I can’t believe you are already gone. It seems to be yesterday we were chatting in front of our lockers about the future and what was coming for us. I always knew you would come to help people because you had that strength only olympians have!
Your strength has now divised and everyone you loved has been given a little piece of it. We will remember you, always.

Dear Annie,
Although we haven’t known you for that long, and met you in the later stages of your life, we could always see that distinguishable bright spark inside you that separated the amateurs from the high achievers like yourself.
You were like no one we had ever met before, and someone that had achieved so much in so little time. You were a great inspiration and role model, and always seemed to “get out there” and achieve something. You gave everything your full attention and always put in to the max!
Your smile would shine and your good nature would present, to show that you were always proud of your achievements, and that you had no regrets!
May peace and love be with you.

Paulo,
Me and Marta were shocked to hear of the news of Annie’s passing. We can only imagine how difficult it must be for you and your family.
To us, Annie is the role model of health and fitness and that is why we were taken aback at her sudden passing.
Please accept our deepest condolences. May God be with you during this difficult time to give you strength.
